Managing director of Duncan & Toplis, Adrian Reynolds, said the new office will help both companies to expand their offering to local businesses, helping them to support the local and regional economy:
“I’m absolutely thrilled that construction is now underway on our new offices in Louth and I’m very pleased that our friends at Wilkin Chapman are joining us in this ambitious project.
“Since we acquired our Louth office in 2007, we’ve supported hundreds of businesses in the local area and our team members in the town have supported many more clients across the region and beyond. The number of people we employ in the area has also increased, meaning we’ve reached capacity on our current premises. This new office is a major investment which underlines our dedication to the local area and it will also create a far better working environment for our team members, many of whom live in and around the town.”
When completed, the new development will see a contemporary, open-plan office space built over two floors with a 61-space car park. It will stand between a facility owned by Lincolnshire firm Micronclean and a planned McDonald’s restaurant, with easy access to Louth and the wider region via the A16.
For Wilkin Chapman Solicitors, the office move is part of a bigger, strategic development following the appointment of CEO, Robin Simmonds.
Partner at Wilkin Chapman Solicitors, Flora Bennett said:
“We can’t wait to move into our new offices at Fairfield Industrial Estate alongside Duncan & Toplis so it’s fantastic that construction is now underway. This will provide us with a modern, flexible environment from which we can better support our clients and our colleagues. Our new Louth office will allow for improved collaboration and communication between our colleagues and clients across the Wolds region.”
Managing Director of Stirlin, Tony Lawton, said:
“We are delighted to be starting work on this bespoke new premises for Duncan & Toplis and Wilkin Chapman Solicitors.”
“We’ve worked closely with Duncan & Toplis to identify a site that provides the ideal location and space for their growing teams in Louth. The design is outstanding, with credit to our clients for the detailed brief and our design and development team, for their ability to deliver upon the client’s requirements. While we were hoping to start construction on this a couple of years ago, the pandemic put the project on pause. However, this has given the team a chance to further improve upon the plans to ensure it fully supports a more flexible, hybrid working approach, with improved ventilation and additional parking spaces.”
