Construction starts on Phase 3 of Kirks Yard

Stirlin has commenced construction on new employment space at their popular development in Lincoln: Kirk’s Yard.

Kirk’s Yard is a commercial business park, located approximately 4 miles from Lincoln City Centre.

Being located just outside the village of Branston, the site benefits from excellent transport links, providing easy access to the Lincoln Eastern Bypass.

Stirlin completed the first two phases of the development back in March 2019, which provided a total of 11 industrial units in a range of sizes.

Following the success of Phase 1 and 2, with all units now occupied by a variety of businesses, Stirlin will deliver a further 10 industrial units, ranging in size from 1,517 to 2,023 sq ft.

Managing Director of Stirlin, Tony Lawton, says, “Following the significant interest we received for the first two phases, we are pleased that we can begin works on further employment space to facilitate further business growth and job creation in the area.

“In addition to this scheme, we have several other new developments and phases in the pipeline. We are continuously exploring opportunities, which includes contractual work, and we encourage people to get in touch to discuss their requirements.”

With the completion of the third phase, Stirlin will have transformed 2.2 acres of vacant land on Mere Road into over 33,000 sq ft of new employment space.

Jamie Thorpe, Chartered Surveyor at the site’s sole agent, Pygott & Crone, says, “Stirlin’s Kirks Yard development has been hugely successful. Phase 2 saw all units sell off-plan well in advance of build completion and we are experiencing pent up demand in this location, with a waiting list of enquires. So we are not expecting these units to be available for long, with one already sold stc.”

Foundations are being poured on site this week, with completed due in the New Year.
