Core Architects join Stirlin in supporting professional snooker player, Steven Hallworth
Lincoln architectural practice, Core Architects, has joined property developer, Stirlin, in supporting Steven Hallworth: Lincoln’s only ever qualified snooker professional.
After securing a place on the World Snooker Tour last year, Lincoln lad Steven has since played in several major ranking tournaments, amongst the top 128 players in the world.
Stirlin announced their one-year commercial partnership with Steven last year and have since approached other local businesses to join them in supporting him in his snooker career.
RIBA Chartered Practice, Core Architects, have agreed to sponsor Steven throughout the upcoming 2021 BetVictor Shoot Out, which will run from the 4th to the 7th of February and will take place at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.
With an attractive first prize of £50,000, the BetVictor Shoot Out is a world ranking tournament, which has been running since 2011.
The Shoot Out is part of the BetVictor European Series, which includes the European Masters, German Masters and the Gibraltar Open.
The entire 4-day tournament will be broadcasted live on Eurosport, a channel that achieved nearly 2.5m viewers across Europe during the World Championship Tournament last year, giving Steven’s sponsors the chance to get their logo seen by millions.
Sam Culling, Director of Core Architects says, “We are delighted to sponsor Steven in the upcoming BetVictor Shoot Out. At Core Architects, we are keen advocates of supporting local talent and we’re pleased to be able to help Steven further his professional snooker career.”
“The team and I are all looking forward to watching Steven play tomorrow – we wish him the best of luck in the Shoot Out and his progression through to future tournaments.”
Grateful for the support, Steven Hallworth says, “It’s fantastic to receive further support from another respected local firm, Core Architects, in addition to the continued support from Stirlin Group. The support and funding from logo advertising opportunities allows me to focus entirely on my snooker career.”
“I’m going into the BetVictor Shoot Out feeling particularly confident. I’ve worked incredibly hard on and off the table to ensure I’m in the best place possible going forward, so I’m optimistic and excited for what’s to come.”
“I look forward to displaying Core Architects’, alongside Stirlin’s logo, with pride and would like to personally thank Sam Culling and his team for stepping forward and supporting me – it means the world.”
Steven will play his first game of the tournament at 1:15pm on Thursday 4th February, against Declan Lavery. Keep track of live scores here.
