James Kirby- Monthly Update

Well, what a month it has been for Stirlin Developments and Homes by Stirlin.

I have officially handed over all social media feeds to our marketing assistant Amy Thompson. After 5 years of reporting the many achievements of the business, I felt it was time to hand over the reins, to enable me to concentrate on progressing all aspects of the business and our future strategy.

With regard to Stirlin Developments, we have continued interest in our commercial developments, which, to me, shows that there are no business or individual nerves with Brexit on the horizon. With this in mind, we hope to release to the market news of a new commercial development very soon.

Our Homes by Stirlin developments are performing well with 80% of Lodge Lane reserved, sold or under offer and we have successfully handed over 14 properties this month. 75% of our Brant Road development is sold or reserved, with only one 4 bedroom detached home left at this fantastic development. For more information on this and others, follow our Social Media feeds and check out our website regularly.

A very encouraging piece of news is that one of our homes at our new development, “Parman Court” at Saxilby has already been reserved. We are due to commence work on site in December.

I am also really looking forward to promoting Woodbank, an exciting scheme in the heart of the village that I’ve grown up in, and spent the majority of my life enjoying. 2019 will see opportunity for people to register their interest & reserve the first plots in Phase 1.

We have exciting news relating to Homes by Stirlin and its future, which will be announced in the coming months. Watch this space!

All of this positive news about our developments and the progress of the business is heartening, but none of it would be possible without Team Stirlin. The Senior management team appreciate the effort from each member of the team, however this month I would really like to thank our fantastic administration team, who are tasked with ensuring we manage the high volume of purchase invoices, sub-contractor and employee timesheets, as well as a multitude of other day to day tasks that are hugely varied and required when managing a successful multi-faceted business.
