Stirlin have recently promoted a number of their staff to recognise their individual growth and define a number of key positions within the company.
Abi Purdy – Operations Director
Abi joined Stirlin in 2014 to assist James with the running of Stirlin, including all financial, HR and administration tasks. In this time Abi has overseen the growth of the office from 2 staff to 12 and over the past 12 months has been directly responsible for the day-to-day running of Stirlin. Abi has also recently been appointed to the Homes by Stirlin board following her increasing involvement with all our residential developments. Her promotion to Operations Director acknowledges her role in every aspect of a business and in ensuring it all runs smoothly.
Si Baker – Construction Manager
Simon joined Stirlin in 2017 and has overseen the construction of a large number of our commercial developments, including Riverside Enterprise Park and the recently completed Stirlin Business Park. Due to our continuing growth, Simon has become our Construction Director’s “right hand man” and is now responsible for overseeing the site managers on all our commercial and residential sites. His promotion to Construction Manager is in recognition of Simon’s hard work and growth as a valued member of the Stirlin team.
Matt Padley – Development Manager
Matt joined Stirlin in 2016 to oversee the coordination of all design information for our developments. This role has recently been expanded to oversee all aspects of our development activities, including site acquisitions and development appraisals, whilst still providing day-to-day technical management on our schemes. His promotion to Development Manager recognises his responsibility at the company and increasing involvement in strategic land and development acquisitions.
Sam Jones – Construction Coordinator
Sam joined Stirlin in 2016, initially working on site before moving to an office based role. Since working in our office Sam has become an instrumental link between office and site and ensures that we continue to deliver quality buildings across all our residential and commercial developments. His promotion to Construction Coordinator acknowledges his dedication to the company and the varying responsibilities within his role.
Adam Wallhead – Estimator
Adam joined Stirlin in 2017, initially as an Architectural Designer, but has since developed an interest in cost management and project estimation. Over the past twelve months we have adapted his role to utilise his expanding skill set and are currently supporting him through a MSc in Quantity Surveying at the University of Estate Management. His promotion to Estimator acknowledges his hard work since joining the company and aligns his role to his chosen career path as he continues towards qualification as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
