Stirlin named finalist in Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards!
Stirlin is thrilled to announce that our Oxley House project in Louth has been selected as a finalist for the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards 2024 in the Development Project of the Year (Under £5m) category.
Completed in January 2023, Oxley House is a £1.8m purpose-built office facility on Lincoln Way, Fairfield Industrial Estate, for leading accounting and business advisers, Duncan and Toplis.
After reaching capacity at its previous office, Duncan & Toplis appointed Stirlin as principal contractor to design and build the 10,000 sqft office premises in Louth, with sustainability and accessibility at the forefront of its design.
Serving as the Louth hub for Duncan & Toplis on the ground floor and Wilkin Chapman Solicitors on the first floor, the two-storey building features open-plan offices, state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms, staff welfare facilities, and a welcoming reception area.
Stirlin managed every aspect of the project, from concept to completion. This involved working with the client on the entire design process, submitting the project for planning permission, securing approvals from building control authorities, as well as the construction and project management. The coordination of these services ensured that our client could rely on us for a one-stop ‘turn-key’ solution.
Rachel Barrett, local director at the Duncan & Toplis Louth office, says: “We are so pleased that Oxley House has been selected as a finalist in the Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards. Duncan & Toplis were delighted to take occupancy of our new premises in April of this year and it is no surprise that the building is being recognised for it’s excellence.
We now have a comfortable, calm, bright and airy environment to accommodate our growing team, many of whom live in and around the town. We take full advantage of the our new technology delivered in the specification, specifically developed with hybrid working in mind. It’s reassuring to know that we’re also contributing positively to the environment with solar panels and our electric car charging points. Clients also love our new contemporary building, with its spacious conference rooms, better meeting facilities, and state-of-the-art video conferencing.
Throughout the project, our dealings with Stirlin were always open and frequent – they are deserving of the nomination and we wish them the very best of luck.”
The project was a pleasure to deliver alongside fantastic local contractors and suppliers – the nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all involved in the project.
We eagerly await the awards evening on 1st February 2024 and extend our best wishes to all the other deserving finalists.
