We are Hiring: Housing Site Manager

We are looking to appoint an experienced Housing Site Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team.

The Housing Site Manager will be responsible for all matters relating to the day to day running of a larger scale market sale housing development site near Lincoln, which is about to start on site.  You will be responsible for ensuring the required standards of Health and Safety, presentation and quality of the product are consistently met and will work to the agreed build programme and budgets.

 

Roles/Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate all activities on the site to ensure that all operations are performed efficiently, on budget and on programme.
  • Manage and motivate personnel on site, providing leadership, guidance and support to ensure a coordinated and productive site team.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to maintain efficient workflow and to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety practices in line with Company policies.
  • Ensure a continuously high level of workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation, quality standards and presentation.
  • Requisition of materials, coordinate orders and dates for all required deliveries.
  • Ensure adequate labour and subcontract resources are always available.
  • Liaise with and coordinate external third parties, such as Building Control, warranty providers, local authorities and services providers.
  • Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, health and safety logs and construction checklists.

Skills Required:

  • Experience within the house building industry is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of house building standards and construction processes.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation
  • Experience of building to NHBC/Premier/LABC standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • SMSTS and First Aid are required.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.

 

Preferred Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Hours of Work:

7.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday and 7.30am – 3.00pm Friday

Salary:

Dependent on experience and qualifications
